Inter-Alliance sets up pension bureau

National IFA Inter-Alliance is launching a pensions bureau that will offer less qualified IA advisers the option of referring business on to a pensions specialist.

The group says rather than de-licensing advisers overnight because they do not have the AFPC G60 qualification it has decided to set up a system that will allow them to refer complicated pensions business on to more experienced advisers.

A ‘grandfathering’ scheme will also be put in place to help train new advisers in the pensions market.
