Inter-Alliance in e-business insurance launch

National IFA, Inter-Alliance Group, is launching the Insurance Centre e-business service with specialist insurer Hiscox.

Consumers visiting the Insurance Centre website can get home and contents insurance quotations and buy insurance policies from Hiscox Online. Policies are designed specifically for people with high value possessions.

Inter-Alliance is extending its online services partly in response to independent research by Fletcher Research which estimates 5.5 million consumers will use the internet to buy insurance policies by 2005.
