Adviser software provider Intelliflo has appointed former Skandia head of proposition marketing Peter Jordan to head up the marketing division at the firm.
Jordan left Skandia in March 2010 to pursue a career in teaching. He has most recently been teaching economics at Portsmouth Grammar School.
The firm has yet to decide whether Jordan’s role will be head of marketing or marketing director. He will take up the role in April.
Intelliflo sales director Dave Chessell says the firm will appoint three marketing specialists who will report to Jordan. A marketing communications executive, marketing events executive and marketing campaigns executive are expected to be appointed over the next three months.
Chessell says: “Peter has a wealth of industry experience and we are looking forward to him joining Intelliflo.”
PMI Independent Financial Advisers director John Stewart says: “Intelliflo has obviously looked at Peter Jordan’s experience and thought it would suit the business well and be beneficial in bringing in new adviser customers. I hope Intelliflo continues to keep its systems simple and easy to use which will give it a good basis to attract more IFAs.”
Last week, Intelliflo announced it has completed its first full platform integration with the Zurich Intermediay Platform.
The integration sees automatic updates of all client information entered between the platform, Intelliflo’s adviser software Intelligent Office and its Personal Finance Portal.
The firm expects to add a further six full platform integrations before the end of the year. Intelliflo says the integration project could cost the firm up to £6m.
In October, Intelliflo integrated its client-facing Personal Finance Portal with Intelligent Office, allowing the automatic transfer of information between the two.
