Insight Investment is proposing several fund mergers, subject to regulatory approval.
The Insight Investment US portfolio and the Insight Investment global dynamic managed fund into the diversified dynamic return fund.
It will also merge its Insight Investment UK equity income portfolio into its diversified high income fund.
Both the diversified dynamic return fund and diversified high income fund will launch in October.
Investors will be able to vote on the proposed mergers at extraordinary general meetings in respect of each fund on September 5, with mergers due to take place late October/early November.
Media relations manager Amanda Williams says: “The rationale behind this is that two new funds provide greater investment flexibility for the fund managers – Patrick Armstrong and Dr. Ana Cukic Munro – and therefore potential for enhanced performance benefits for investors. Insight is therefore proposing these mergers to give investors in the merging funds access to the new, enhanced funds and the benefits that increased diversification, coupled with wider investment powers, can bring.”
