This year’s money Marketing Live Manchester will once again feature a dedicated Investment Arena which will provide intermediaries with access to the leading experts from the fund management industry.

Taking place at Manchester Central (G-Mex) on Tuesday, October 30, the conference and exhibition brings together an unprecedented number of presentations workshops and seminars.

Speakers at the event include Gartmore head of multi-manager Bambos Hambi, who will discuss the challenges facing intermediaries in an ever-changing regulatory environment and one of the most successful pairings in the UK multi-manager market, Robert Burdett and Gary Potter, co-heads of the multi-manager team at Thames River Capital, who will be presenting their new range of multi-manager funds.

Burdett and Hambi will also be taking part in the ever popular Investment Question Time, which will include Glasgow Investment Managers head of investment trusts Kenneth Harper and Money Marketing columnist Brian Tora.

Sarasin Chiswell deputy chief investment officer Henry Boucher will examine renewable energy and energy efficiency as long-lasting investment themes while Invesco Perpetual global investment specialist Robert Stephens will look ahead to the key issues which may influence markets in late 2007 and 2008.

Financial Express head of adviser business Mark Chanda and head of new business Gary Wheeler will also dispel some of the myths about fund research by demonstrating tricks of the trade.
