Ignis appoints Mira Bhogaita to Ashby’s UK equity team

Ignis Asset Management has hired former LV= Asset Management portfolio manager Mira Bhogaita as a new portfolio manager in its UK equity team.

Bhogaita will report to Ignis head of UK equities Graham Ashby and will help to manage the £5.9bn the eight-strong team runs across its retail and institutional portfolios. She will also cover the consumer goods, property and construction, and financial services sectors.

Ashby says: “We have significantly strengthened our UK equity proposition and Mira’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to enhancing our capabilities.

“Having worked with Mira before at LV=, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Asset Management, I know what a talented investment professional she is and I am very confident the team will benefit from her skill and experience.”
