Ignis appoints duo to strategic alliances team

Ignis Asset Management has continued to build its strategic alliances team with the appointment of Daniel Haylett and Barry Sturgeon to the position of business development consultants in the business.

Haylett and Sturgeon, who join Ignis from M&G and Hartford respectively, will be responsible for enhancing service levels, providing investment support and building long-term strategic relationships with national IFAs, fund platforms, life offices and major advisory networks.

The pair will report to head of strategic alliances Nick Pogmore. The appointments follow that Rob Page, who joins from Liontrust early next year.

Ignis Asset Management head of retail sales Austin McBride says: “We are delighted to welcome Daniel and Barry to the team at this exciting time for Ignis. Working with Nick Pogmore, they will play a key role in building our business relationships with the UK’s major distributors.
