ifs unveils plans to offer LTC exam

Ifs School of Finance has unveiled its plans to offer a qualification in long term care after Britain’s leading political parties described it as an area requiring attention during this year’s conference party season.

From next month ifs is offering advisers its new CeLTCI to enable practitioners to advise on LTC after Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg called for better care for the elderly.

Ifs head of public affairs Phil Hall says: “It’s not just politicians who are concerned by this issue, this is an area that consumers are increasingly looking for help and advice in addressing, with many seeking the assistance of a financial adviser.”
