IFP launches 2009 Financial Planning Week

The Institute of Financial Planning is launching the 2009 Financial Planning Week as a national consumer awareness campaign.

Financial Planning Week, September 7 to 13, aims to help consumers take simple steps towards improving their financial situation.

Highlights of the FPW website include a downloadable guide to financial planning for consumers, written by IFP past president Jane Wheeler.

Financial Planning Week will also have a Facebook group where consumers can post their queries and thoughts.

Throughout the week there will be a daily poll supported by Morningstar on the website to further gauge consumer attitudes to key areas of financial planning.
