IFP conference 2013: The award winners so far

Paradigm Norton Financial Planning Ltd has won the Institute of Financial Planning award for accredited firm of the year.

Presenting the award at the IFP’s annual conference in at the Celtic Manor resort in Newport today, IFP interim chief executive Steve Gazzard says: “Whilst it was very close, Paradigm Norton edged it thanks to their innovation, outstanding customer service and contribution by the whole team to consumer education.”
The paraplanner of the year award has been given to Gemma Siddle of Eldon Financial Planning.

Gemma was selected by a judging panel including Gazzard, Parmenion head of corporate relationships Patrick Ingram, The Paraplanners managing director Richard Allum, and Martin Vaughan of Paragon Paraplanning.
The David Norton Building Excellence Award went to Kevin Deamer of Essex-based KMD Private Wealth Management.
The award recognises the firm with “outstanding potential” to develop as a successful financial planning firm. It is awarded in memory of former IFP president David Norton.



FCA censures death bond firm Catalyst and seeks to fine directors £550k
