Institute of Financial Planning chief executive Nick Cann is to spend some time away from his post while recovering from illness.

A communication sent out by the IFP today says the professional body’s senior management team will run operations along with the IFP board in Cann’s absence.

IFP president Becky Taylor says: “Nick has worked tirelessly to develop Financial Planning and professional standards in the UK and I’m sure the high quality team he has built around him will continue his good work while he recovers.”

  1. Get well soon Nick. You will be missed.

  2. I am sure a lot of IFAs’ would love to take time out to recover from from all the crap they have had to deal with over the last few years, with more to come..
