IFG Financial Services launches sports & entertainment arm

IFG Financial Services Ltd is forming a dedicated sports and entertainment management Team based in its Manchester office.

The team will be developed by newly-appointed Mike Lukic and led by IFG FS northern regional manager Paul Barber who joined the firm in September 2007.

Lukic joins from Mitchells Wealth Management Ltd of Chesterfield where he was managing director. He has around 25 years experience in financial advice and has built a practice specialising in advising professional footballers.

IFG FS northern regional manager Paul Barber says: “It is critically important that all sports professionals, earning large amounts of money over a relatively short period of time get the best possible financial advice to see them through their long years of retirement. Clearly, the same applies to entertainers, although they may well enjoy longer working lives.”
