IFDS to power Castle Trust online D2C service

Castle Trust has launched a direct-to-consumer platform, white-labelling technology from IFDS.

The D2C proposition allows investors to buy investment products from Castle Trust online through an Isa wrapper or investment account. Direct investors could previously only access Castle Trust products direct via telephone or post.

Castle Trust chief technology officer Tony Pauley says: “We are pleased to offer our range of Housa products online to private investors.

“The IFDS investor portal provides a much more efficient investment process and greatly enhances customer experience.”

IFDS chief executive of funds Paul Roberts adds: “We believe the IFDS investor portal facilitates a greater interaction between our clients and their customers.

“The D2C market represents a significant opportunity for our clients and we’re delighted to extend the range of services we provide to Castle Trust.”

Castle Trust was set up in 2012. It offers fixed-term investment products linked to the Halifax House Price Index, as well as mortgage lending.

IFDS confirmed earlier this year it had agreed a deal with Skandia to power its investment platform from 2016.
