IFDS hires Bank of England chief information officer

Fund and outsourcing technology provider International Financial Data Services has hired Bank of England chief information officer Simon Moorhead as chief infomation officer of its global business.

Moorhead was responsible for managing IT change at the BoE and also led the IT program that saw the creation of Prudential Regulatory Authority last April.

“His wealth of experience and knowledge will prove invaluable as we continue to enhance our global technology platform and operations.”

In August Skandia agreed a 20-year deal with IFDS to outsource administration, processing and technology on the platform.
