IFAs with websites up to 80 per cent

The number of IFAs with websites has increased to 80 per cent in 2001 from 56 per cent in 2000, according to a survey of 200 IFAs carried out by The Exchange.

Tailor-made websites are becoming particularly popular, with 46 per cent of IFAs having a bespoke site in 2001, up from 14 per cent in 2000.

IFAs have increased their use of technology in other areas, with 90 per cent now having a back office system, compared with 65 per cent in 2000.
