IFAs miss domain event as addresses go quick

IFAs appear to be failing to embrace the technological revolution, leading

them to miss out on scooping some of the best internet address names

available.

Many of the top domain names which would have been ideal for IFA websites

have fallen into the hands of speculators looking to cash in by selling

them on.

Among the potential addresses already taken are best adviceonline.co.uk;

bestifa. co.uk; bestifaonline.co.uk, bestifaonline.com and best

ifaonline.co.uk.

Industry sources say many independent advisers are even failing to

register their own company name, let alone take advantage of some of the

best marketing domain names and opportunities the inter net provides.

They suggest IFAs must embrace the internet as, in the years to come, a

web domain name will be as impor tant to an IFA business as a phone number.
