IFAs claim ….

IFAs claim they are baffled by the trendy, management-speak job titles

adopted by Royal & Sun Alliance.

Where once you had an IFA pensions marketing manager, the life office now

boasts an asset accumulation leader. The market manager for pensions has

become asset release leader and the post of savings and investment market

manager has been renamed IFA personal market leader.

The marketing department has also redesignated itself and now operates

under the enigmatic name of Portfolio.

Former IFA pensions marketing manager, now called the asset accumulation

leader, Mark Birks says the new job titles speak for themselves. But IFAs

are less than impressed.

A&B IFA Gareth Marr says: “It sounds like Royal & Sun has allowed a

so-called branding expert to come in and run wild. What is the cleaner&#39s

new title I wonder?”

Madison Monetary Management managing director Mark Howard says: “The fancy

titles will not distract from the non-fancy performance.”
