IFAP painting a picture to help kids&#39 hospitals

IFA Promotion is running an art competition to raise funds for children&#39s hospitals around the UK.

Patients at 14 children&#39s hospitals will take part in the IFAP Paintbox Appeal. The challenge is to paint a picture on the theme of: “If I had all the money in the world…” IFAs from 14 regions will be co-ordinating the entries and fund-raising activities. Four winners from each region will be announced this month and will each win £100 Nat ional Savings bonds. The children&#39s wards will also get £100 while the hospitals get £1,000.

For the regional heats, IFAP is donating prize money of £14,000, Family Assurance £6,000 and National Savings £4,000.

Each regional winner will go through to the final to be held in London next May which IFAP is aiming to make a high-profile event.

Frekell Topping IFA Debbi Redpath is co-ordinating entries from the Royal Manchester and Booth Hall Children Hospitals. She says: “It has been fun to be involved in the event, working closely with the hospitals and with support from IFAP. I would definitely like to do it again next year as the financial benefits to the hospitals are significant and it helps us raise awareness of our name in the area.”
