IFA workshops will offer an introduction to life planning

IFA Life, Financial Weeks and Russell Investments have teamed up to offer a series of five introduction to life planning workshops to IFAs around the UK.

The workshops will address questions on what life planning is and how it fits within a typical UK financial advice business.

They will also look at the skills required to offer life planning, how best to communicate its benefits to clients and how and when to charge for life planning.

Practical case studies will focus on IFAs already offering life planning and clients’ response.

Financial Weeks IFA Tina Weeks, who will be co-presenting the workshops, says: “Our private clients consistently show interest, are excited about and are willing to pay for life planning. It is now an integral part of our financial planning process, and we will be sharing with other IFAs the step-by-step process that we use to communicate it to clients.”

The workshops will take place on April 26 in Manchester, April 28 in London, April 29 in Bristol, May 25 in Glasgow and May 26 in Belfast.
