ICS opens way to compensate clients of four more firms

The Investors Compensation Scheme is opening the compensation procedure for customers of four former investment firms.

The four firms are The Fellowship Investment Company ltd, City and West End Pension Consultants, Watkins Insurance and Campbell Financial Services Plc.

The ICS is declaring the firms in default because it is satisfied that they themselves are likely to be financially unable to meet the investment-related claims against them.

Norwich Union launches savings tracker fund

Norwich Union has launched a Savings Tracker Account that will track the interest rates offered by up to 12 leading providers of comparable deposit accounts. Initially the account will only be available to customers wishing to reinvest all or part of the proceeds from a maturing policy or pension. The minimum investment is £1,000.
