Hub aiming to help IFAs with marketing

A company aimed at helping advisers market their serv-ices to clients is launching this week and is free to UK-registered advisers.

Marketing-Hub.co.uk allows advisers access to a system to create their own marketing material by choosing from a range of designs for reports, emails, newsletters or mailings.

The site is free to use and is sponsored by several fund management firms, including M&G, Gartmore and JP Morgan. The company says it is in talks with life offices to get sponsorship on the life and pension side.

Advisers can choose from a database of articles on pensions, investments, mortgages and other areas of personal finance and put them into a newsletter format to email or post to clients.

The service aims to help advisers improve client loyalty and increase business, particularly among advisers who have little time to communicate with their clients.

Director Lesley Hankin says: “The opportunities for advisers to realise the potential of professional marketing communications has either been very expensive or inflexible. This offers them a vast library of content and expertise, combined with a fully customisable application, which helps generate not professional-looking material which is tailored directly to the clients they are targeting.”
