House of Lords set to debate Welfare reform and Pensions Bill


The House of Lords will this week debate the Welfare Reform and Pensions Bill, the legislation which introduces the framework for stakeholder pensions.


But the Government could face defeat on its plans to replace the Serps-based pension with a bereavement allowance. The bill could then be forced to the House of Commons.
