Hornbuckle appoints operations director

Hornbuckle has appointed Richard Valentine as operations director and Bill Graham as a property specialist.

Valentine has 20 years’ experience in the pensions industry and will be part of the Sipp and SSAS administrator’s senior management team.

He joins from James Hay, where he was most recently managing director of the firm’s Bristol operation.

Valentine will be in charge of Hornbuckle’s core pension administration teams, including drawdown, investments and property.

Graham, who has previously been head of property management at Suffolk Life, will oversee property administration and transactions at Hornbuckle.

Hornbuckle chief executive Phil Smith says: “I’m thrilled with the appointment of two highly experienced and established individuals from the self-administered pensions industry.

“Richard and Bill add to our investment in technical competence, knowledge and experience, alongside the investment we have made in our new technology.”
