Honister Capital has launched a technical support service to provide its 1,300 advisers with daily analysis and commentary on financial issues.
The Techlink Professional service is being delivered by Technical Connection. It will offer commentary on tax, law and financial advice issues, Budget summaries, both professional and client-facing, and client and adviser newsletters.
The service delivers online CPD testing and automatic CPD logging. It also provides an online technical support helpdesk that responds to enquiries within 48 hours.
Queries are dealt with either by internal Honister compliance or research teams, the new technical support partners Aviva, M&G, Prudential, Scottish Widows or Skandia or they will sent to Technical Connection.
Honister strategy and business development director Alan Easter says: “After the RDR, all national adviser businesses need to provide their members with this kind of support. Advisers are faced with shifting financial and legislative sands at present.”
