HFM Columbus acquires Orchard Lane

Wealth manager HFM Columbus has acquired independent financial adviser firm Orchard Lane Ltd.

Orchard Lane directors Richard Mifsud and Jillian Fenner have transferred their business and taken positions as regional directors with the HFM Columbus group.

Orchard Lane’s Southampton office will remain in operation under HFM Columbus.

Managing director Jeremy Hoyland says: “Recruiting Richard and Jill is a real coup for the company and represents a fantastic opportunity for all parties.

“This is an excellent start to our drive to make further senior appointments across our three offices in Weybridge, Tunbridge Wells and our new London base in Covent Garden.”

Fenner adds: “This is a win-win situation for both us and our clients. We will still be very much in control of our clients’ interests, which we understand so well, but will now be able to bring them an even wider range of options to benefit their business.”
