Hermes brings global equity funds under single umbrella

Hermes Fund Managers has brought all of its global equity funds under one umbrella.

The funds being included in this move are Hermes Global Equity Core, Hermes Global Equity Select, Hermes Global Equity ESG – All Countries, Hermes Global Equity Screened ESG, Hermes Global Smaller Companies and Hermes Global Equity Hedge Strategies.

There are no changes to the fees or management of these funds. The funds still sit with a range of boutiques while being brought under the single umbrella.

The Hermes boutiques are Hermes Quantitative Equities, Hermes Global Equity Advisors, Hermes BPK and Hermes Small & Mid Cap.

Hermes Fund Managers chief executive Saker Nusseibeh says: “By bringing together our global equity strategies under one umbrella, we hope to demonstrate the breadth and quality of our offering.

“We believe this will more easily allow our clients to identify the strategies appropriate to their needs.”

Explaining the timing of the move, Hermes Fund Managers head of marketing and communications Ian Pascal says: “Over the last year we’ve seen growing interest in global equities, but there was a lack of awareness of the breadth and strength of our product range.

”We hope that bringing the suite together will give greater clarity to investors.”
