Heathcare for elderly crisis

The Government&#39s public-private partnership in the home care sector for the elderly could collapse under a weight of red tape, warns Bupa Care Services managing director Graham Swift.


He believes urgent action needs to be taken to ensure home care can be provided economically without the “bureaucratic contractual straitjacket” currently operating in the sector.


Swift was speaking at the annual Homecare conference in London.
