HBOS investment operation launches today

Insight Investment, the asset manager of HBOS, has today launched a new retail investment operation offering nine new funds and 14 revamped funds.

Insight&#39s investment offerings fall into three main groups – Foundation, Classic and Professional. Foundation funds are designed for new investors or for those who want a low cost, CAT standard ISA. The Classic funds contain a series of core asset class funds suitable for building a balanced portfolio, while the Professional category is made up of a range of more specialist funds.

Insight Investment managing director Gary Mairs says: “We listened hard to customers and worked closely with intermediaries in developing our business. We are committed to delivering service and products in which they can have confidence. Our ambitious growth strategy and the £40 million investment from HBOS over the next three years positions Insight Investment as a major new force in the asset management arena.”
