Hart leaves Standard to head Suffolk Life sales

Suffolk Life has appointed Standard Life business relationship director Ray Hart as head of sales.

Hart has spent more than 20 years at Standard Life managing strategic relationships and sales delivery with banking and wealth man- agement groups and has recently been working on the Standard Sipp.

Suffolk Life managing director David Hobbs says: “The retail distribution review is set to change the advice sector dramatically in the next year and having the right sales and technical support team is critical to maintain service levels to advisers and their clients.”

Hart will be based in Suffolk Life’s Ipswich office.

Affluent Financial Planning managing director Carl Melvin says: “People invest in a Suffolk Life product because of the quality of their product and proposition. Hart is going to have to differentiate Suffolk Life from other Sipp providers.”
