Hargreaves’ VCT research head to join Yearsley at Charles Stanley Direct

Rob Morgan is leaving Hargreaves Lansdown to join Charles Stanley Direct as pensions and investment analyst.

In his new role Morgan will be responsible for news and feature content on the Charles Stanley Direct online platform and will report to Ben Yearsley, head of investment research.

Charles Stanley launched its direct-to-client platform at the end of January, spearheaded by Yearsley who joined the group in October last year.

Morgan joined the helpdesk at Hargreaves Lansdown in 1999, and has since held the positions of financial adviser, investment analyst, and most recently head of Venture Capital Trust research.

Yearsley says: “He is joining to help strengthen the research and writing capability. I worked with Rob when he first joined Hargreaves Lansdown in 1999 and I went full circle to working with him again at Hargreaves Lansdown more recently, and it will be nice to join up with him again. He is a very good writer and knows the investment industry very well. He will be a great addition to the team.”

Morgan joins Charles Stanley Direct at the start of April and will be based in Bath.
