Hargreaves Lansdown founders slip down Sunday Times Rich List

Hargreaves Lansdown founder and former chief executive Peter Hargreaves has slipped down The Sunday Times Rich List after losing £190m in the past 12 months.

The loss sees Hargreaves (pictured) fall from 65th in 2011 to 90th in 2012. His wealth now stands at £830m.

Hargreaves’ co-founder Stephen Lansdown has fallen out of the top 100 after losing £201m in the past 12 months.

Lansdown is now 152nd in the list having been 90th in 2011. His estimated wealth stands at £549m.

Hargreaves stepped down as chief executive in 2010 but remains an executive director at Hargreaves Lansdown. Lansdown also stepped down as executive director of the firm in 2010.
