Hargreaves Lansdown adds passive funds to its platform

Several of Vanguard Asset Management’s tracker funds have been added to Hargreaves Lansdown’s Vantage platform.

Hargreaves has also added the SWIP FTSE all share index, which has a TER of 0.11 per cent, to its service.

A total of 12 Vanguard trackers in the equity, fixed-income and blended spaces are now available to retail investors through Vantage, with a minimum investment of £1,000 per holding and TERs ranging from 0.15 per cent to 0.33 per cent.

Hargreaves will charge a platform fee of £2 per month per holding.

Vanguard managing director Tom Rampulla says: “A number of new platform models have emerged which mean that more investors can access low-cost funds such as ours, which have not paid rebates to platforms and have, therefore, not previously been available to investors.”

Hargreaves Lansdown head of advice Danny Cox (pictured) says: “This new range of ultra-low-cost tracker funds further enhances the Vantage Service. We are meeting the needs of investors looking for low cost tracking funds combined with first class service.”
