Hargreave Hale acquires W H Ireland Lancaster office

Hargreave Hale, the stockbroker and fund manager has acquired W H Ireland’s Lancaster office as part of an expansion of its regional business.

The Lancaster office is managed by Andrew Garstang and handles more than 2,200 clients who currently take advisory and/or execution only services.

Through its London office and five branches Hargreave Hale currently advises more than 22,500 investors with assets under management of around £1.4bn.

Hargreave Hale CEO Giles Hargreave says: “The Lancaster team already makes a valuable contribution to investors and professionals in the area, and we welcome the team and their skills to the company. The addition of the Lancaster office shows that we are a growing business and will help us to consolidate our position as one of the largest stockbrokers and asset managers in the North West.”
