Hallen takes key multi-manager role at skandia

Skandia Investment Management has recruited Raj Hallen to its multi-manager team.

Hallen, who has run multi-manager funds at Premier Asset Management for four years, will take on a key role to strengthen what is already one of the biggest retail market teams in the UK.

Hallen has been in the industry for 15 years and bef-ore his time at Premier, he had spells at Newton and BGI.

SIM operates actively managed and single-strategy funds as part of its range developed at launch in April 2003.

Chief executive officer Jamie MacLeod says: “Raj is an extremely well respected fund manager and we are delighted to have been able to attract him to join us.

“His expertise and industry experience makes him a strong addition to the team. This new appointment reflects the rapid growth of the asset management business since it was launched just under two years ago.”
