Halifax General Insurance launches online sales solution

Halifax General Insurance is introducing a new online sales solution for mortgage intermediaries.

The new technology allows intermediaries to sell Halifax buildings, contents and mortgage repayments insurance online.

The products can be sold alongside Halifax, Bank of Scotland and The Mortgage Business mortgages as well as together with any other lender’s mortgage.

The new platform has been piloted by fifty intermediaries in two UK regions.

Halifax general insurance senior manager partnership and affinities Angela Howard says: “This new system benefits both intermediaries and their customers. Intermediaries will find it quick and easy to use and their customers will benefit from great value cover from a trusted brand.”
