Halifax and Woolwich offer mortgage brokers on-line access

The Halifax and the Woolwich have joined the internet bandwagon offering mortgage brokers on-line access


There are currently eight “high street” mortgage suppliers offering between 30 and 40 loans products over the net.


Online mortgage brokerages are also taking off in a big way with Emfinance promising a decision within three minutes on online mortgage applications.


On the savings front investors face a plethora of choice from online services. But as more diverse operators enter the financial fray the IFA&#39s services will still have a vital role to play.


Woolwich spokeperson said: “The independent financial advisor still has a key role to play in advising our customers, as they can look at the whole picture.”
