Half of all protection business done online says L&G

Over half of Legal & General&#39s life and protection business is now submitted online, the life office says.

L&G says the business transacted through its two online facilities, the Online Term Assurance and e-Protection Choices, now accounts for half of its protection business.

Housing and protection director Graham Newitt says: "We have worked closely with advisers to develop relevant technology and the result is that online submission to L&G is becoming the norm for advisors across the UK."
