Hack attack

It seems that Money Marketing’s pre-Christmas rant in the form of an A to Z of PR has goaded, as was intended, some PR folk to write an A to Z of hacks as a rebuke.

One press officer from a Scottish life office compiled his own.

Here is a pick of the bunch:

D is for detox – the two-week period of self-reflection in January when journalists drink in moderation.

F is for free drink – is there any other kind?

J is for journalism – what journalists pretend to do when not drinking.

K is for kind PR – who buys the booze.

P is for PR – what every journalist secretly wants to be – or party, where every journalist wants to be

U is for unprintable – the things that journalists say that can never appear in Out of Context.
