Guardian Wealth Management has appointed SEI to power its platform.
Guardian, an international IFA firm, is planning to open a UK headquarters in Cardiff this month and aims to recruit 136 chartered financial planners over the next five years.
Guardian Wealth Management chief executive David Howell says: “SEI’s ability to provide us with a global platform will enable us to reach our growth goals for the future. “
SEI managing director Ryan Hickey says: “SEI’s Global Wealth Platform will give Guardian the capability to scale its book of business into a successful international offering.”
In June, Guardian appointed Former Bluefin Wealth Management IFA and current Institute of Financial Planning president Marlene Shalton (pictured) as managing director of its financial planning practice.
Shalton will take up the role on September 1.
