GRS picks five to build insurance

Pension recruitment specialists GRS Group has hired five senior recruitment consultants from Mansion House.

After undergoing a management buyout in May 2008 and recently launching GRC, its own risk management consultancy operation, GRS has recruited Nick Purdue, Gerard Bland, Simon Dodds, Simon Clark and Mena Woodcraft from the specialist life and pensions recruiter to build its insurance credentials.

GRS managing director Lucinda Brown says: “”I am delighted to appoint such a specialist, credible and experienced team. With the addition of such a strong team, the depth of our offering in this field for our clients has reached a new level. We can now offer a genuine global service in the insurance and pension market covering senior level permanent and interim positions in these sectors.””

Bland says: “”We are delighted to be part of GRS. The combination of its compelling vision and culture and experienced leadership team made it a fairly easy decision for us. We are excited about the opportunity to play a part in its ongoing success.””

GRS chief executive Ken Brotherston says: “While few recruitment firms are hiring currently we continue to recognise the opportunity to seize market share in our chosen glo-bal markets, especially when the pedigree of the talent is so evident. We welcome the team to GRS.”
