Government to liberalise polarisation

The Government has announced the phased abolition of polarisation in favour of the introduction of multi-ties.

Immediate action will be taken to liberalise the polarisation regime for stakeholder pensions, potentially Cat standard Isas and in a surprise move fund supermarkets.

The move will then be extended to cover all investment products in the long term.
