Gourmet break to be won

Scottish Friendly is inviting IFAs to win a gourmet break for two at one of the country&#39s top restaurants.

The winner and a guest will either win the meal for two, a wine-tasting session or learn how to cook fine cuisine.

Advisers will be able to choose from either Rick Stein&#39s Seafood school in Cornwall, Oz Clarke&#39s Wine Experience in London or Gordon Ramsey&#39s Amaryllis restaurant in Glasgow.

The friendly society wants to raise the profile of its tax-free and with-profits savings plans, lump-sum investment plans and Isas among advisers.

Marketing director Harry Gibb says: “Eighteen per cent of our business is via IFAs and we would like to see this increase to 25 per cent by 2005.

“The campaign is straightforward but with an element of humour to it. We have asked three questions and in turn IFAs will have a chance to win an exciting weekend break.”
