Goodwin quits Credit Suisse

Credit Suisse global head of equities Kim Goodwin has left the firm after less than two years.

Goodwin has returned to the US as a consultant, with head of European equities Cesar Perez taking on her role.

Perez becomes the third equity head at Credit Suisse in two years, with Goodwin taking on the role in October 2006 from Mark Burgess, who in turn left to become executive vice chairman and head of asset management for the EMEA region.

Perez joined Credit Suisse from M&G Investments last summer.


TFC Homeloans surviving packager crisis

TFC Homeloans says it is surviving beyond many of its competitors in the packaging market as a result of the credit crunch with a 30 per cent rise in new applications this month.

Difference of opinion on advice/ sales split

I am amazed to see the comment allegedly made by Richard Hobbs that “there is no difference between a top tied adviser at St James’s Place and an IFA because it is the asset class and the asset manager that makes the difference. The wrapper is of no importance”.
