The new scheme, which goes live on March 1 will offer HIP buyers cashback if they instruct Goldsmith Williams to undertake conveyancing work on their behalf.
Homeowners will pay an initial charge of £199 for the purchase of a HIP but will be given £50 cashback if Goldsmith Williams is instructed to look after the conveyancing work relating to the sale of their existing property.
They will be given an additional £50 cashback if the firm is also instructed to undertake the conveyancing work on the purchase of their next property. The cashbacks will both be provided on completion.
Goldsmith Williams senior partner Eddie Goldsmith says: “We have listened carefully to feedback from brokers and have developed a scheme which enables homeowners to reduce the cost of a HIP to less than £100.
