Glynn and Wilkins quit Just Retirement to join Partnership

Partnership has recruited Just Retirement’s head of sales Paul Glynn and national account director Jackie Wilkins.

The pair follow former sales director Andrew Megson who quit Just Retirement last September to head a new retirement division at Partnership.

Glynn will take on the role of director of IFA sales at the enhanced annuity rival while Wilkins will be national account director. Both are currently on gardening leave.

The appointments form part of a drive to grow the business after private equity firm Cinven bought a majority stake last June in a deal worth over £123m.

A spokeswoman for Partnership says: “We can confirm we have recently made two offers of employment to Jacqueline Wilkins, for the position of national account dir- ector, and Paul Glynn, who is set to become our new director of IFA sales. We are extremely pleased to have attracted such great candidates and are looking forward to them starting work in the near future.”

Cinven is reportedly one of the names in the frame to acquire Just Retirement. Just Retirement announced in November it had received expressions of interest.

Just Retirement declined to comment.
