Gaskin joins Exchange

Former Misys IFA Services chairman Jim Gaskin is joining arch rival The Exchange’s IFA business a chairman.

Gaskin’s resignation from his post as chairman of Misys IFA was revealed exclusively in Money Marketing in July.

His focus will be developing its business to business sector and he will work closely with IFAs. He will also have a role in contributing to the overall group development.

The Exchange is keen to make use of Gaskin’s nine years’ regulatory experience with Fimbra.

The Exchange managing director David Dalton-Brown says "This is a coup for us. Jim has unrivalled knowledge of the IFA sector and his appointment underlines our commitment to IFAs. It is a big step forward for the business."

Countrywide member Excalibur managing director Andrew Braggott says "This is a really good move for The Exchange. He will really help move its business forward."
