Gartmore&#39s McNaught joins Polar expedition


Gartmore Fund Managers managing director Lewis McNaught is set to join three other Britons in an expedition to the North Pole.


The trek begins on April 25 as the team set off to walk the last degree of latitude towards the geographic North pole.


The trek in aid of Starlight Children&#39s Foundation will be the culmination of a series of fund raising events


It will be sponsored by Cheltenham & Gloucester, Skandia Life, Citibank and European Data Services.


Starlight aims to brighten the lives of seriously ill children by granting them wishes and entertaining them when they are in hospital.


Events kick off with a Polar Party at Battersea Arts Centre on April 16, followed by a sledge Pull in Hyde Park on April 17 and 24 hours in a deep freeze on April 18.
