Gartmore's fixed income senior investment manager Eran Peleg is leaving the company after five years to return to Israel.
Peleg's funds will be taken over by Paul Grainger, who has managed Gartmore's UK fixed income portfolios since 1999 and also runs its UK Gilt and Fixed Interest fund.
Head of fixed income Roger Bartley says: “We are disappointed to be losing Eran, but we fully understand the reasons for his departure. Eran and Paul have successfully worked together since 1999. They have very similar investment management styles and Paul is the ideal replacement for him.”
