Aim: Growth by investing in quoted large and mid cap North American companies.

Minimum investment: Lump sum £1,000, monthly £50. Isa lump sum £3,000 monthly £100.

Investment split: 100 per cent in quoted large and mid cap North American companies.

Pep transfers: Yes.

Charges: Initial 5.25 per cent, annual 1.5 per cent until January 31, 2002, then 2 per cent, unless fund fails to be ranked in top 25 per cent of all relevant competitor funds – then it reduces to 1.25 per cent for that month.

Special offer: Initial charge reduced to 3.75 per cent.

Offer period: Until April 30, 2001.

Commission: Initial 3 per cent, renewal 0.5 per cent.
