Gartmore has made two senior appointments to its global emerging markets team.
Sebastian Barry-Taylor joins next month as global emerging markets analyst covering the global consumers sector. He was previously at JP Morgan where he was vice president LatAm and CEMEA.
Richard Clode joins from Herald Investment Management in January as global emerging markets analyst covering the information technology sector.
Both will report to head of global emerging markets head Chris Palmer.
Palmer says: “We believe that the consumer and information technology sectors, which together comprise nearly 27 per cent of the global emerging markets universe, are attractive areas for future investment.”
